After completing a carpentry apprenticeship in 1986, Mike was quickly promoted into positions of authority undertaking supervising duties on commercial and residential sites. Mike became a licensed builder in 2007 and now holds a Degree in Applied Science Quantity Surveying where he received the accolade of Honours.
